Spiral Taper Candles - Set of 4, Ivory

Four unscented ivory spiral taper candles that turn a simple supper into an occasion.

Each taper is moulded with a deep spiral twist that catches the light along its whole length, and is solid ivory all the way through rather than dipped, so the colour stays even as it burns. They are unscented, so they never compete with food, and fit standard taper holders with a 2.2 cm base. Each candle burns on a braided cotton wick.

Use them in pairs on the dining table, in a row along the mantelpiece or in a single candlestick on a bedside table. Push each taper firmly and straight into the holder before lighting so it stands upright. Candlesticks shown are not included.

Care and safety

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before lighting, stand each taper firmly upright in a suitable holder and keep it out of draughts to prevent dripping. Never burn tapers lying down. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, draughts and anything that can catch fire, and always burn on a heat-resistant surface.
