Bramble Ribbed Ceramic Candle - Blackberry & Bay

A blackberry and bay soy candle in a matte sage-green ribbed stoneware vessel - a calm, fresh scent for the bedroom.

Bramble is poured with soy wax into a ribbed stoneware vessel finished in a soft matte sage glaze, with an unglazed foot so it sits gently on wood. The scent pairs dark blackberry with green bay leaf and a hint of cedar, fresh rather than sweet, so it suits a bedroom or a bathroom. It burns on a single cotton wick.

Light it for an hour before bed while you read, then snuff it out before you sleep. When the wax is finished, the stoneware vessel makes a pretty pot for a small succulent, make-up brushes or kitchen utensils.

Care and safety

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn. Let the first burn last until the melted wax reaches the edge (usually 2 - 3 hours) and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop burning when 1 cm of wax remains. The stoneware gets warm - place it on a mat on delicate surfaces. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, draughts and anything that can catch fire, and always burn on a heat-resistant surface.
