It sits in a groove on a round base of solid oak, which keeps the glass steady and lifts the candle off the table. It takes a pillar candle up to 7.5 cm wide and 15 cm high; the 10 cm and 15 cm Ridge pillar candles fit.

Use it on a dining table, a garden-room table or a sheltered patio on a still evening - the glass keeps the flame steady when the door is open.
